90 Degrees North (90 Grad Nord) is a grotesque modern fairy tale about a businessman who is ensnared by a demonic, man-eating traffic island.

90 Degress North won the Best Pitch Award at the In the Palace Film Festival, the Silver Busho at the Budapest Short International Film Festival, received an Honourable Mention at the Sydney Underground Film Festival and won first place at a pre-round for the Shortfilm Slam Award (Final April 2016).  The film is supported by the Medienboard Berlin Brandenburg Film Fund and German Films.

90 Degrees North was nominated for the European Film Awards 2016, in the category “European Short Film” by Cork Film Festival. To date it has been accepted in 55 film festivals and won 19 awards.
