Why K17?
K17 was the seat at the Odeon Leicester Square London that Detsky sat in during The Empire Strikes Back at the age of seven.
It was in this seat he set out to become a filmmaker.

The scripts Chris writes reflect his English upbringing - black comedy is where he feels most at home though he's also partial to a bit of nail biting drama.
